Another Irish design secret would have to be Daintree Paper. Located at
61 Camden Street, Dublin 2, their shop is definitely worth a visit if you’re in town. They stock beautiful, ethically produced papers and envelopes in every colour and texture imaginable and every art/craft essential you could think of, from ribbons to pressed flowers to glitter pens, glue guns and card decorations. Even if you’re just looking for a bit of inspiration, their collection of wedding invites and the various other bits and pieces throughout the shop are sure to delight. And if that’s not enough of a reason, they also have a beautiful coffee shop tucked away behind the shop in a tiny garden. No excuses!

I recently needed to hire a caricature artist on a freelance basis for a project at work. I found these three through a bit of hunting and all have impressive website portfolios:

Drew Kavanagh – www.caricature.ie

Martyn Taig – www.pixcil.com

Brian Gallagher – www.bdgart.com
